Just a quick note to help you out for future refference (you may know all of this already, but if not it'll help so I'm gonna type it up anyway)..

Only pending FAs and players who are arbitration elligible will talk extension I believe.

You can check everyone's contract status for your team here:

It'll let you know if they're arby elligible, how many years they have of service time, how many years remaining on their contracts, etc.... all of that info. Plus their salaries of course.

Another thing, unless the player is loyal, they won't negotiate their contracts at all until June 1st of the season. They will say "It's too early in the season to talk about an extension!" But loyal players will negotiate before that point... as long as they fit the bill I described above.
