    Well, we have the biggest lead of all the division leaders at 18 games...can't see blowing this lead considering the other teams are all under .500. The pitching needs to improve if we are to have a chance in the playoffs.

    My last sim has regressed to switching to a 4 man rotation to try to sleaze more starts, and wins out of Matt Cain and try to get a Cy Young.

    Alfonso Casto has lost some movement on his pitches...
    Alfonso Casto's control seems to have taken a bump...
    Tyler Clippard seems to have lost some of his feel for his stuff...

    &%*$#@&#$ un-freakin-believable. I hate my life....rebuilding can't happen if all the guys i'm depending on keep losing talent.

    the league pitching finished just as terrible as started; 5.26 for the AL and 4.79 for the NL...last year the pitching shined and this year it was the offense. I hope we can find a happy medium going forward because it sure makes it hard when signing or resigning guys when you don't know what to you'll get from them.

    I can't believe my team won 98 games with a 4.63 ERA...all of my starters had at least 11 wins though. And Casilla led the league in saves again. I like how Duke's ERa jumped almost 3 runs after signing him to that extension last year (5.43 this season vs. 2.68 to lead the league last year)
