Giants 2009 "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" Giants

    * Pending one or two more minor changes I may make that will have little to no impact on my team anyway *

    Lineup vs. RHP

    (S) CF Randy Winn
    (R) 2B Kevin Frandsen
    (L) RF Bobby Abreu
    (S) LF Nick Swisher
    (R) 3B Nomar Garciaparra
    (L) 1B Nick Johnson
    (R) SS Bobby Crosby
    (R) C Ben Molina
    (P)

    Lineup vs. LHP

    (S) CF Randy Winn
    (L) RF Bobby Abreu
    (R) 3B Nomar Garciaparra
    (S) LF Nick Swisher
    (L) 1B Nick Johnson
    (R) SS Bobby Crosby
    (S) C Jason Varitek
    (R) 2B Kevin Frandsen
    (P)

    * If you want to see the ratings, look them up your god damn self.

    Bench:

C: Ben Molina(vs LHP) or Jason Varitek(vs RHP)
    1B/3B: Shea Hillenbrand
    2B/SS: William Bergolla
    OF: Fred Lewis
    OF: Jayson Werth

    Rotation:

    RHP Matt Cain
    LHP Barold Zito
    RHP Tim Lincecum
    LHP Noah Lowry
    RHP Matt Morris

    Mopup: RHP Carlos Hines

    Middle 1: RHP Mike Wuertz
    Middle 2: LHP Jeremy Affeldt
    Middle 3: RHP Randy Messenger
    Middle 4: RHP Brian Wilson

    Setup 1: RHP Erwin Boley
    Setup 2: LHP Jeremy Affeldt

    Closer: RHP Brad Hennessey

No predictions... the team is 12% less suck than it was last season... great rotation still in place, Improved an already solid pen with the addition of Wuertz(so good, c'mon baby make it wuertz so good)... lineup definately solidified with the additions of Abreu and Garciaparra. Since Varitek and Molina are on the same level of suck offensively, i'll let them compete for the starting job.

    Keys for success:

CF Randy Winn needs to have a season at least somewhere inbetween 2007 and 2008... I personally can't wait for his contract to expire, because he is not a 7 million dollar player.

3B Nomar Garciaparra- please, for the love of all that is right in this world, stay healthy!!! My only better options at third base are about 2-4 years away at the earliest(Villalona/Martinez)

LF Nick Swisher... can you please try to hit a .245 average, and .340 on base? If you mash the ball and drive in runs, I'll deal with that.

RF Bobby Abreu- Steal bases, hit home runs, and drive in runs... okay? Thanks!

1B Nick Johnson- just keep getting on base, you ugly son of a *****.

Matt Morris- don't die yet, I know you were jewed out of a lot of wins last season, but just hang in there, buddy.

Brad Hennessey- don't wake up one morning and remember that you are ****ING BRAD HENNESSEY. Just keep pitching like an elite closer, eventhough you're not.

Yeah, i'm fully prepared for that probability, especially since he was healthy in 2008...

    Revision... it will probably be

    2B Castillo
    CF Winn
    RF Abreu
    LF Swisher
    1B Johnson
    3B Garciaparra
    SS Crosby
    C Molina/Varitek

and Shawn Green will take Werth's place on the bench.

You're a rotation away from being smacked in the face with a dead fish by my team.

And you're a lineup away from being smacked in the face by mine... heck, if we combined my rotation with your lineup, we'd probably win 150 games.
