wow...all negative development for me...not 1 positive thing.
Same here, Guzman went from stud to serviceable.
My Japanese pitcher sucked.

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Gallardo is now also a 10-8-9 after starting last season 8-7-7...that's some fast development right there.

The epitome of underachievement is the Mets pitching staff. Or is it just plain FAILURE?

scott hairston is the man now dog. id trade him for matt cain straight up BUT I DONT THINK ITS FAIR TO ME SUCK ON THAT WALLS. i got a bunch of pieces to trade here, prospects, vets, f at people, skinny people... im just too lazy to make a thread. its nice to have a winning team in a league for once... we'll see how long that lasts.
Team didnt start well. Not too worried though. David Huff is now a stud so I think I will have a complete rotation of studs soon. Carmona, Sabathia, Sowers, Logrehn and Huff. All atleast 9 8 8 ratings. Nasty.
Yeah I don't really exist anymoreMolina - Twins
TSSL - A's
TBL - A's
PSL - DenverFail Nobra
Ianetta gained power, woohoo. More importantly, Jimenez is now 9-7-8.. four very strong in the rotation and Bensauce is off to a nice start. Carlos Beltran, you are the law giver.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

inaugural sims are awesome... because you get to look at the projected statistics, and then guffaw and/or chortle at how ridiculous they are. cancel the MVP voting, because Freddy Guzman is going to hit .469 with 20 HR, 101 RBI, 101 runs scored and 30 stolen bases. freddy guzman. yep.
someone who was actually legitimately nasty was Eddy Volquez, who finished the 2nd half of '07 hot and posted a 13-14 record with a 4.49 ERA in his rookie year. well, he's looking to stay hot, as he's 3-0 with a 1.44 ERA in his first 4 starts. 0.96 WHIP, .186 BABIP... not over powering people, and still struggling with his control(only 13 K's against 10 BB's), but he's getting the job done.
and i'll take the 9-7 mark and tie for the AL West lead, considering my lineups had to be auto'd and some of the decisions made by the CPU were kind of questionable.

only 8-8 sim and my ace pitcher is injured for 5 weeks, just run with 4 starters
Alexis Rios is off to a great pace with 8 HR and 18 RBI to start off the year
newcomer Ty "Wiggy" Wigginton also performed hitting .333 avg, 1 HR, 9 RBI (not much power), but Wiggy came though with 10 doubles to start.
I wish Glaus and Thomas were dead
