    Upcoming schedule..

Alright, we won't be simming for a few days. Take this opportunity to make trades, send in lineups, revise strategy, etc.

I'm going to start editting the draft class in tonight. I'm also going to be without power for a full day one of these days this upcoming week as our house is being rewired. It's just going to be a busy couple of days, but mainly, the reason there's going to be a short break is so that I can edit in the real life draft class, as many rounds as I can in a timely matter that is.

Once the creating of the draft class is fully completed to my liking, I'll let everyone know and I will upload the site. Then I'll announce the next sim which will be about a 7-10 game sim, or however many games are left in May. After that, there will be a sim shortly after the draft sim to make up for the short sim leading up the draft and all the lost time.

    I figure it'll be about a 3-5 day layoff.

Thanks guys! Feel free to keep trading and sending stuff in until then.

So on the draft will it be a repeat of the actual MLB draft or will we get a chance to take "who we want". IE Team A sees a pitcher they like better than the guy drafted by the actual team.

So what happens when your team picked a guy who decided to go back to school?

Awesome. I might have a few changes. I need to get some time to look it over.

    Re: Upcoming schedule..

So far, I've done about 5-10 teams. I'm using ESPN Insider, scout.com, baseballamerica.com, and rotoworld... it's going pretty good.

I've decided on doing the first four people picked by each team, and if I can get through it fast and have what I feel like is enough time to do more, I will.

So if your team had a 1st round pick, a supplemental first, 2nd, 3rd, 4th... the 1st, supplemental, 2nd, and 3rd will be in there more than likely. I'm just using my best judgement when it comes to editting in the right players.

It will turn out well though, I promise.

Colorado drafts... a ****ing reliever with the 8th? I'm sorry, a closer. Okay, so I didn't pay much attention to college ball.

    1st Round- Casey Weathers
Sounds like a major closer prospect. But at 8th overall? Damn.

    2nd Round- Brian Rike
Sounds like ...Brad Hawpe with his power and stuff.

    3rd Round- Lars Davis
I hope he's a good catcher, but being named Lars, prolly not.

    4th Round- Isaiah Froneberger
    H'es 17 and he's.. 5'8. Pedro Jr.?
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?

    Nats will pick up...

    1st - SP Ross Detwiler
Just what we needed, another stud starting pitcher. At least for a change it's a lefty

Supp 1st - SP Joshua Smoker
Another left handed starting pitching prospect. I need a few of those. All of my current pitching specs are righties.

Supp 1st - RF Michael Burgess
The power hitting OF I've been looking for.

    2nd - SP Jordan Zimmermann
Just what I need, another SP. Can I have the SS instead?

    Re: Upcoming schedule..

    Kansas City Gets:

Rd 1 (2): SS Moustakas, Michael... Great another lack o range 3b, maybe a catcher (Honestly I wouldnt mind a catcher ). At least he has some pop. FYI Nick Im using the MLB list. If you click on his profile it lists his bday as 1985, that cant be right. The KC draft board shows him as 1988.

Rd 2 (66): RHP Runion, Samuel... High control, 19 yrs old. Plus HES A PITCHER .

Rd 3 (96): LHP Duffy, Daniel... 18 yrs old, did I ever mention how much I wanted Pitchers . 4 pitches (mentions Slider*, Curve, and Changeup) to go with an 89-92 fastball occasionally topped out at 94.

Rd 4 (126): RHP Hodge Nielsen, Peter... no clue MLB didnt have any information on him. From what I could tell on the video low 90s on the fastball.

Rd 5 (156)^: CF Ortiz, Adrian... 20 yrs old, questions about his offensive ability. Great speed and range.

*= Mentioned as his "best pitch" by MLB.com
