    Phillies 2007 Philadelphia Phillies Block

Got in influx of starting pitching in Philly, and since I'm a better manager than Charlie Manuel, Bret Myers isn't going to the bullpen. So someone must go of the veterans...

    2.0 star SP Adam Eaton
    2.5 star SP Jamie Moyer
    3.0 star SP Jon Leiber
    3.0 star SP Freddy Garcia

One of them must go, hell, maybe even 2 of them depending on the offer. Not sure what I'm looking for, maybe prospects, maybe 3B, OF or RP help.

Also taking offers on SP prospect Carlos Carrasco, maybe in a spect deal for a couple lesser guys. Intrest?

Okay, I said I'd get back to some people, and quite frankly, I just haven't had the chance. I wanted to take a closer look at my guys when I had more time to process it, and as I did lineups, I now have a fairly clear picture of what I'm looking for for certain players.

In any deal for a starting pitcher, I'd like to add an outfielder(must play RF), or a third baseman. Good relievers or not, they're not getting you Garcia. But hey, if you want to give me a good reliever for Moyer(you don't), I'll be glad to take him.

For Carrasco, a couple 3.0 star plus spects, I know I talked to a couple of you on him, I'll take this case by case, because, I can't really say that I'm going to take any 2 3.0 spects for him, because I'd be flat out lying.

Am I seeing things with Eaton's deal!? I mean, I'm not trying to knock him cause I want him, but is there a mix up with his contract?

If that is indeed his contract I want his (Eaton's) agent representing me in any contract negotiation.

Would Emil Brown be of any use for OF help?
