No MVP candidates here. Only Ben Sheets for Cy...
...oh wait
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Oh, he's good enough to win it in both leagues.

He'll have competition from Harden and Peavy.

Harden is the only one that compares... no disrespect to Halladay or Peavy, because they're having fantastic seasons, just Sheets and Harden are in another galaxy in comparison

sorry, Halladay's not performing on the same level...Harden has a sub 1.75 ERA and is on pace for 20 wins...Peavy is on pace for 22 wins.
I don't even look so much at the wins as much as the beastly ERA's and microscopic WHIPs.

Harden lost the Cy Young when Sheets was traded to the AL anyway, even if NYY sucks the rest of the way (which i hope is true), Sheets won't and he has 3 more wins than Harden, and wins rule the Cy Young since Sheets has a edge over Harden in almost every stat.
I would have argued Halladay not out of it by any means (before the Sheets trade), in all the stats Roy right there with Harden, mostly behind him but right there, Peavy only has wins and K's over Halladay and there not by huge amounts, only stats that have a gap is ERA and WHIP and now wins with Sheets there.

the only category Sheets has the edge in is wins...everything else is almost exactly the same except Harden has 3 more CGs and has over 90% QS vs. 82.5% QS. Sheets has 3 more wins, but also 2 more starts...Harden has less losses. I'd flip a coin, but in real life, Sheets wouldn't even be an option if he were traded to the AL at the deadline.
As far as Harden vs. Halladay...the ERA is almost a full run lower for Harden. He has a whip 20% lower (.8 vs over 1.0)...given up almost 50 hits less...10% more QS.
Sheets is the nation of domination
