Deadlines for extensions, arby, etc. + free agency on the horizon...

Alright, just needed to make a little announcement.

Since most all of you have had ample time to work out extensions, I'm only going to give another day.

All arby cuts and extensions must be in by Tuesday at 2:00 PM EST. I will announce this in the extensions board as well so everyone can see it.

After that, like last year, hammer is handling free agency. That means offers and what not go to him. We'd like to be able to jump into free agency pretty fast and stuff. Also, this year draft compensation picks are involved with free agency (see main board for info) to spice things up.

So essentially, once I post the awards and make sure everythings ready, I'll zip the file and send it to erik. From there, he handles everything. Then come spring training, it's back to me.

The rules will again be posted for free agency, including the new stuff with compensation picks. So be patient for that, it'll come within the next day or two.

hey, just for my own information for TSSL, when you're zipping the file, are you zipping a backup copy or the regular file that is in the OOTP 6.5 folder for program files?

I just zip or winrar the regular one, and then send the zipped copy to hammer.


I make backups for my own use after sims though, because I'm always paranoid somethings going to happen. So after just about every sim I do, I winrar the main file.

ok, so I can just zip the main file...I don't use that program though...my comp can zip it up when you right-click, send to compressed (zipped) folder.
