The Blue Jays are on a horrible slide down the AL East going from first to amazingly just 1.5 games out of first but last night's game was the dagger. Jays blew a 8-3 lead and then a 10-8 lead in extra innings only to lose 12-10. Jays were swept by the Red Sox, Braves and Orioles on a nine game road trip but have no fear, a day off is in order. The Jays will also return to home after that day off so things can turn back around, it will just be tough. The Jays play the Red Sox again, a day off and then a series with the Angels. Guys like Wells and Rios really need to start playing their part and the bullpen needs to pull their heads out of their asses.

This team was never first place good to begin with, so this isn't surprising at all to me
