    Blast From the Past Draft

The June 1st Amateur draft is almost here. There will be players from the past involved in the draft...as we have planned since the league restarted. This is how it will work.

The draft order will be posted later tonight or early tomorrow morning. The order will be the standings after the sim tonight from worst to best. This will be a list draft. The first 15 teams will be drafted on Thurs night via a list draft. Each GM should submit a list of up to 15 players to me no later than 8:00pm on Thursday night. The next 15 teams will be drafted on Friday night, and those lists are due by 8:00pm Friday night. We may do the 2nd round via list on Sat and Sunday, but I will make that decision on Friday.

The players involved in the draft can be found here.

Straight or serpentine (since this is not a "real" ammy draft)?

Straight! It will be conducted as a "real" ammy draft would be.

This was all decided before the draft.

Also...the ammy draft next year will consist of players that debuted in 1988 since this draft gets the players before 1988.

The braves pitching coach looks pretty awesome. Bud Black would really make a nice SP, except I've never seen an SP with a 1 in endurance.
