    Nationals 2025 Washington Nationals

Just like Slyder said in his team post, this team will also go as far as the starters take them. We won the division last year, and then the pitching staff promptly let the team down in the opening round of the playoffs to Prov's team, with the top 2 starters each laying eggs in their games. However, they were still rewarded with new contract extensions, because I had to lock them up. After last season, where I spent big, I've successfully cut the payroll by $14 million, but I'm still heavily strapped for cash. New additions in the infield are exciting (Tucker, Curbelo, Iron-Knife), although I didn't accomplish my goal of getting a quality lefty starter. Very difficult with my financial situation, but I'm making it work. What will happen this year?
