No I mean, the steps in the process should be public after the fact... we got a good debate...GF and I will talk and we'll make the TBSL policy (whatever it is)

This debate sure seems pretty one-sided to me. The steps in the process are not public after the fact in MLB negotiations. And we all know how truthful news reports are when you say that the public basically knows where the player and the franchise stand in negotiations. I couldn't disagree more. The news is used... especially by Scott BorASS. The truth is something that is muddled at best and completely unknown at worst.

My concern isn't really making this as realistic as possible OM. It would be nice, but that's not the aim here. However, after much deliberation and looking at everyone's concerns and opinions, this is what is going to happen:

-I will allow private negotiations from here on out if you wish to use it
-If you resign a player, the final extension signed will be made public in the extensions threads, just so everyone can see someone was signed without having to look through the game
-If you fail to resign a player, the process and result will not be made public. That can stay private.

I hope this works for everyone. If you still have a problem with this, let me know.
