This is an incredibly even deal for a 3-way trade. Detroit in my mind gets the short end of the stick, but they do get Gordon. I do think Gordon wont be that good, as my experience with 2-pitch pitchers has been nothing but failures.

Great job by KC to get Farnsworth off their hands, and good job by Boston to bring in Moustakas.
