I don't quite understand "arbitration" and I want to make sure "automatic resign" means that I need to do nothing and they'll be resigned...

You don't need to worry about arbitration and automatic resigns. Auto resigns means they're going to make $300,000 next year, and arbitration means they are going to get an automatic salary based on their ratings and performance, with no risk of losing them to free agency

possible arbitration means he could move from auto resign to arby with the proper amount of days on the MLB roster. no need to worry about them

also, possible free agency means he could go from arby to free agency with the proper amount of days on the MLB roster, so be careful of those guys, free agency could creep up on you with them.

But say it says "could become Free Agent with 45 more days of service this year." does that mean that AS soon as 45 more days are played they are a free agent or at the end of that year?
