I'm currently enacting a new rule. I haven't talked to LJ about it but honestly he made mention of it before. From now on, trades get 3 tries. If all 3 fail, they can't be reworked anymore. This is ridiculous. Agree? Disagree?

I don't have a problem with this trade, but CJ must really want that #1 pick. Marrero was the kicker for me in the last several reworks of the trade.

As for the limit on reworking trades, i suggested it in one of the other threads so I don't have a problem with it at all. I've never thought that type of rule was needed, but I've never seen a trade reworked 6 or 7 times etiher.

If so, it's basically Behemoth or SP Lopez for all of that. Which isn't bad, just weird for a team that has so little.

By the way, LAA should have asked for a 1 star scrub so it's easy to enter that deal.

I agree. This one is passable. Please don't over-react to this incident. I doubt any other ttwo GMs ever go through this nonsense. There is no reason to create a rule until you see a pattern of undesirable behavior. Key word being pattern. I don't think any of the rest of us would have done this. No other GMs have been like this unless I am unaware of some...

Forgive me as I digress... Usually HS and college age people don't want anything to do with "rules"... yet when HS and college age people find themselves in a position of leadership or authority... it seems to be the first thing they turn to!

Let's be honest, the only GMs you'd ever see in something like this are CJ (way to stubborn), mntwinsfan (he speaks for himself), and brewcrewrock (he's what, 12 years old? it's gonna happen). So fortunately, that's a small small percentage of sim leagues. At most I've seen is a 2nd or 3rd try and deals usually get done by then.
