You know, to echo browntown from another league, it almost bothers me entirely when people put (blah blah blah) out from a player as if they're trying their darndest to get something passed that shouldn't be. I'll check this one out but if those Nat players are anything like TPSL, this is fail to the 10th power.

    Re: LAA-WAS: Take 3

I bet their trade convo goes like this:

CJ: What do you want me to add to get Chris Marrero?
Brewcrew: i dont carre, whatever lolololololol!!!!!!!!@#!@$!#!23213@!#@!$#@$ add n1 and sned it mee

Marrero is really good, Burgess is ok. Santana sucked HARDCORE last season, Saunders isn't that good really, Aybar is solid and the relievers are pointless really- why bother? I still don't like it. He's getting quantity in the form of junk for Marrero.

I agree, instead of actually adding quality to get the 1st pick in the draft... he adds overrated junk on his side and another stud on the other side. BCR would probably agree to anything. Sorry... I just can't pass a trade like this, it's just getting worse. Washington can't compete even if this deal passes, and losing Marrero and the draft pick will continue their demise for many years to come. It's anybodys guess how long BCR will be in the league. That isn't bashing him, it's just the truth.

    Re: LAA-WAS: Take 3

I'd like to see this league get going before too many more of CJ's rebuilding trades go. I think Marrero is a stud, but flawed with the low avoidk's, I think Burgess will never hit over .240, Brown needs a boost to ever stick in the bigs... I say this all based on other leagues though.

I think Lackey for Marrero is fair. I think Santana and Saunders and the MRs are fair compensation for Burgess/Brown/King.

I veto with the Washington 2010 first rounder. w/o the pick... I pass it.

i agree Oriole. The draft pick is the huge difference in this trade... any version of it. It's difficult to judge any of these players since the league hasn't started yet.

This has turned from slightly silly to a joke to just sadness.
    Absolute failure.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Fail as well. I like OM's analysis of this. He basically gets the first overall pick for free.
