    Forecast 2021 Predictions

    AL East
    1. Toronto - Call it a reverse jinx if you want...at some point Schauer's gotta stop underperforming, right? Elizondo has to be better, right? Pooler? Stewie Griffin? Rosario? Cuccia? Could win the division or could lose it by ten games. I don't know.
    2. Tampa Bay (WC) - ...that being said, would I put money that my team won't win the division? No. But I don't really know how this team's going to perform...the SP is getting old, Gomez is coming off a killer injury, and largely the same team that won 89 games - but had a 99-63 Pyth record - comes back. Figure it out if you can.
    3. Baltimore - Big offseason move was...signing James McCaulley to a $4.25 mil deal? Huh?
    4. New York (A) - Had $93 mil available for Free Agents and signed...no one. Um...ok?
    5. Boston - Signed 9 players in Free Agency and not a single one of them is any good. TSSL's version of the Knicks, high payroll and team going nowhere.

    AL Central
    1. Chicago (A) - The thought of signing Alphonso Diez to that contract and then stashing him in AAA makes me want to vomit.
    2. Minnesota - Have some good players but...where are the starters?
    3. Cleveland - Nowhere near being a good team yet ahead of two others...this division is truly horrendous.
    4. Detroit - Abdiel Zubiri
    5. Kansas City - An abomination...maybe the best team to compare them to is...the real-life Royals. Except worse.

    AL West
    1. Anaheim - You were expecting someone else?
    2. Seattle - Their pitching should be really good...can they get enough hitting?
    3. Texas - They've done a great job of rebuilding...but the rotation should be a weakness.
    4. Oakland - ...you were expecting someone else?

Anaheim over Tampa Bay in 6
    Chicago over Toronto in 5

    Anaheim over Chicago in 5

    NL East
    1. Philadelphia - It's very nice when you can return basically your entire team that made the World Series...although they need another starter, Cole Hamels isn't going to last forever.
    2. Florida - I kind of regret trading Tricia Takanawa, he (she?) is going to be a very nice player.
    3. New York (N) - Poor Nestor Rodriguez...he could use a new home...like Tampa Bay...
    4. Washington - Made a total of...zero offseason moves...ok...
    5. Atlanta - They may suck now, but at least they have a semi-active GM from the looks of things.

    NL Central
    1. Pittsburgh - If they could get one more good SP, I would love this team.
    2. St. Louis (WC) - As long as Prov doesn't continue to go Mad Scientist on his team.
    3. Chicago (N) - $5 mil to Billy Pelaez?...wow
    4. Houston - Could win the division again or finish here. I really don't know.
    5. Cincinnati - Will probably finish above .500 again. Will probably finish in last place again.

    NL West
    1. Arizona - Did basically nothing in the offseason. Could we be seeing our first sub-.500 division winner?
    2. San Francisco - Every single one of 5 quality starting pitchers underperformed last year. Could contend for the division if everything goes right though.
    3. Colorado - Massively overpaid for Victor Stone. I've run out of things to say.
    4. San Diego - ...and I still have nothing to say. They're still rebuilding. Cool.

Philadelphia over St. Louis in 7
    Pittsburgh over Arizona in 6

    Pittsburgh over Philadelphia in 7

    WHY SO WORLD SERIES
Anaheim repeats over Pittsburgh in 6
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Wow, finally I get some respect I agree with you, I have no idea how this team is going to do. But I sure do expect better than last year, that's for sure. Especially with the ridiculous negative pyth I had last season.

Let's not get crazy, you haven't exactly won anything to garner respect. Also don't talk to me about negative pyths.

edit forget it pals... my offense is pretty damn good though, abomination is certainly not a good term however.

Why wasn't my team called an abomination, because we actually are. Especially now that I traded Boatman(for a prospect that hopefully pans out), and lost Albano to injury for the first 2 months of the season.

I think I may put Schauer in AAA now just to keep the world from witnessing THAT abomination

He may actually perform up to his ratings in AAA. I got sick of him, with those ratings, he should have been good for .280, 35 hr, 100+rbi, 400 obp, 30 sb every season... and wasn't giving me that. Ricker can not give me that too.

You'd be surprised. He put up good numbers last year with the same ratings. But its deff going to be an issue eventually.

    Re: 2021 Predictions

    AL East
    1. Tampa Bay- OOTP loves Tampa Bay and they will find a way to win the Division again
    2. Toronto- They could the win the division or they could be broken up if they don't perform.
    3. Balitmore- They need more than McCauley.
    4. New York (A)- They will not repeat last season when they had a +6 in their pyt.
    5. Boston- Or rename them the Mariners AAAA squad.

    AL Central
    1. Chicago- We're just waiting for another SP to get hurt in October
    2. Minnesota- Not quite ready to catch the White Sox yet.
    3. Cleveland- Medicority.
    4. Detroit- Starts.
    5. Kansas City- Here

    AL West
    1. Anaheim- Could they repeat?
    2. Seattle- This team was 8th in runs scored last season. Can the rotation stay healthy.
    3. Texas- Its going to be a war for 2nd place with Texas back in the hunt.
    4. Oakland- AARP recipients come to the Bay Area.

AL Wild Card: Loser of Toronto/Tampa Bay or Winner of Seattle/Texas

    NL East
    1. Philly- They bring back everyone this season. Was last season a fluke or is it the start of another freaking dynasty.
    2. Florida- They are reloading for right now.
    3. New York (N)- Nestor will carry them to 3rd place.
    4. Washington- Will they ever make a move out of 4th?
    5. Atlanta- They have a semi-active GM and will be decent in a couple of years.

    NL Central
    1. Pittsburgh- Can anyone stop the offense?
    2. St Louis (WC)- Don't let Prov fool you, this team is still very strong.
    3. Houston- Foster should throw a fire sale block every season. They start to perform then.
    4. Chicago (N)- Did exactly what they did to add a pitcher in the rotation. Sign Billy Pelaez!
    5. Cincinnati- ETA to a blow up: June 1st.

    NL West
    1. San Francisco- Their pitching will finally wake up and win the division at 80-82
    2. Arizona- This is a train wreck......
    3. Colorado- of the division.
    4. San Deigo- Which Starter do they curse this season?
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)

TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)

    TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
