I don't think anyone else could have or would have topped that offer. Schill is a stud 5.0 spec. The 4.5 spec 1B is ready now and the 1st round pick was the cherry on top. Toronto and Cincinnati do not have the specs of that caliber in their minor leagues. Mission is one of the easiest guys to deal with when you've got something he wants. He has no problem paying the price and doesn't try to short change people.

I agree, I wouldn't have been able to match the offer

Yeah, I wasn't gonna deal him, but when mission is offering Schill and a 1st round pick along with a decent 1b spect... I gotta take it.

    Re: 2021 Predictions

    AL East
    1. Tampa- Until they are beaten, they are the front runner.
    2. Toronto- There's no reason they can't at least be second cause Boston and NY are not good and Baltimore's GM is not good.
    3. Baltimore- Another LJ led team that goes nowhere.
    4. Boston- I am stoked that I lost the bid on Jareno. As should everyone else.
    5. New York- Stunning fact, the yankees are rendered meaningless in 2/3 sims that have the real yankees. Theo Epstein smiles.

    AL Central
    1. Chicago- By default, really.
    2. Minnesota- They could surprise but unfortunately, they have 3 maybe 4 ML caliber players
    3. Detroit- Hey, they're just fine.
    4. Cleveland- Rumor has it that they have a GM.
    5. Kansas City- They have not mattered since they traded Jose Davila (2008).

    AL West
    1. Texas- As made perfectly clear in the playoffs last season, they don't have the pitching to go the distance.
    2. Anaheim- Because I don't like picking myself.
    3. Seattle- Fact: San Franny is 50 plus games under .500 since they dealt Bonney. Fact: Even healthy, Seattle goes nowhere.
    4. Oakland- GM ranks 30 out of 28 in the GM rankings.

    NL East
    1. Philadelphia- Routinely picking in the top ten every year finally paid off.
    2. Florida- NYM might have lost enough talent for Florida to move up.
    3. NYM- But I'm not totally sure.
    4. Atlanta- Guy was stuck with a mess but at least he's trying.
    5. Washington- Yeah, not trying.

    NL Central
    1. Pittsburgh- They accumulated quite a number of studs.
    2. Chicago- Yeah yeah, I gave them a closer. My bad.
    3. St. Louis- The commish can't possibly settle for missing the playoffs again, can he?
    4. Houston- Not enough pitching.
    5. Cincinnati- Morrone ain't your savior.

    NL West
    1. San Francisco- Needs to stop playing Oropesa and someone has to win this division, right?
    2. Colorado- Spent a ton of money to go from mediocrity to.... still mediocre.
    3. San Diego- Because Arizona looks terrible.
    4. Arizona- But San Diego isn't much better for now.

Tampa, Chicago, Texas, Anaheim ...wait, I've seen that before.

    Philly, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Florida

Tampa vs. Florida in the really warm for October bowl. Tampa wins, Andrew Miller retires a winner.

    That's nice.

And yes, this is the only thing I do with my life. I have no girlfriend, no other friends, and am not involved whatsoever in my school.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I never said that, did I? I'm just saying, my life is hectic I only had time to make one 1 free agent offer which wasn't successful.

Actually, all my top 10 draftees suck, sans Lucius Green. But of course, I foolishly traded him away.

I think 60 million should be able to cover Bearce and Montijo.

Why am I hated so much? Statistically, Colorado has been better than mediocre over the past 5 seasons. Maybe not much though. I do like being the underdawg.

I'll take IF Storm Shadow, SS Trinidad, MR Villamil, and SP Matsuta off your hands then.
