Colorado bid 9 million on Mitsukuni, but he did not want to play in the thin air. I am not sure why... He could have boosted his HR numbers in Coors for sure.

you never actually bid on him...he wouldn't even listen. everyone always gets that confused. I find it slightly humorous as it's not accurate. You mean to say: "Damn, I was willing to pay more than that, but (insert player name here) wouldn't listen to offers from (insert team name here).

Wade Davis must love how every year he thinks about retiring cause he's bad, but some team will overpay him on a 1 yr deal cause they want to be the owner to fix him

Pelaez could never take an at bat as a Cub, and he was worth every penny. One of my biggest issues has always been fan interest, and how that plays into finances. His 5 national popularity took me up to 83/100 (T-4th).
