    Speaking of which, barring a collapse, Guizar should effectively end Villegas/Davila's MVP run. A 50/50 potential guy, leading the league in RBI with a OPS over 1.000, holler.

    Villegas and Pujols are tied for the most NL MVPs with 4 each. Ogai snuck one in there. Villegas had an "off" year for himself that year. Ogai actually had a higher average and OPS! Davila had a higher OPS though. Ogai was 2nd in average, 3rd in OBP, 5th in SLG, 3rd in OPS, 10th in hits, 4th in RBIs, 1st in runs, 2nd in walks, and 1st in SBs (due to Weddo being out for six weeks or something). The game doesn't seem to take the whole "making the playoffs" thing into the equation so I guess he got it due to having the better season across more categories. He also doesn't make many errors (none this year so far).

    it sure wouldve been sweet if some schmuck didnt trade davila for jason bay, and had the monitary funds to keep villegas... i did offer 22 mil though, so it wasnt like i was stingy.

    I wish I could say the same about moving those guys, but as it turns out, they've only seen the playoffs once since then.

    I called up some players and they did well on their first sim. Mike Darley is hitting .379 with 2 HR and 12 RBI's. While Pedro "No Comment" Quiles has started off hitting .444 and has driven in 5. Not too shabby, hopefully they can keep it up.
