    A's 2018 Oakland A's

    Lineup vs both:

    SS Norman Deschamp
    CF Mitch Maier
    3B Leif Schauer
    LF Chris Errecart
    DH Etanislao Abreu
    RF Connor Jackson
    1B Prince Fielder
    C Robert Kinchen
    2B Raul Garcia

    Rotation

    Dontrelle Willis
    Arthur Hysell
    Segundo Albano
    Wally West
    David Bush

    Mopup: W. Villareal

    Middle 1: B. Finch
    Middle 2: Corcoran
    Middle 3: Majewski
    Middle 4: Villareal

    Setup: Solorio

    Closer: Brandt
Strengths are obvious... power, and lots of it. 3-7 in the lineup are going to knock the cover off the ball, probably with mixed results average wise. The front of the rotation is solid, but not dazzling. The back of the bullpen should get the job done, but the rest may falter and need a makeover at some point during the season.

Honestly... have no idea where I'm gonna finish. Was in the division race until the end of last season, and wouldn't be shocked to be in it again. Could finish first, or 4th depending on how things go right or wrong. Need big things from Albano, and Hysell with Willis on the decline. Failed miserably in an attempt to pick up a starting pitcher this off-season... with Willis' contract expiring, I figure to be a player for a big one next season.

Schauer has been really good thusfar, but I think this is the season he breaks out, and goes 40-40.

I've got you in my sights for this year. I'd like to either finish above .500 or not in last place (both would be great).

The AL West is quickly getting back to one of the more well balanced (with good talent) divisions again like it was 3-4 years ago before I blew up my team.

I think all four of us will be .500 or over... no real dominant team, but the 4th place team is gonna be like 82-80, and the division winner will get in with like 90-94 wins.

I think the you will have to win 95-96 to take the division. But all 4 teams are capable of winning as much or better than the NL West 2nd place team.
