We can make up generic last names for the one word guys.

It can't really work on its own for a themed draft (assuming you plan on doing one...) but they can be throw ins.

It's not a bad idea. If used right, it can work. Like you said, they can't be used on their own, but i like the idea as throw ins. About the only thing I won't do in themed drafts is cartoon caracters. Since I've never seen an abbott and costello cartoon, then it could work. I need to think more about it, but if we do use it, they will be used as nicnames. Such as Jack "I don't give a darn" James. I'll brainstorm more later, but now I'm working on a crazy idea that we will begin tonight.

You know, another batch of fictional baseball players (outside of the movies) would include Cooney, Barrows, "Lulu" Flynn, and Jimmy "Cake" Blake, who are all Casey's teammates on the Mudville Nine. Apparently the pitcher who struck out Casey was named Riley. And there's the famous fireball pitcher Hayden "Sidd" Finch, the center of an April Fool's Day hoax in Sports Illustrated back in 1985.

Nope, suggestions are welcome. I have my own ideas for draft themes for a few years, but there is no reason why combinations can't be included. I can work in different ideas.
