Yes...

1) I will accept "max offers" from anyone that won't be there and wants to send me max offers. If you want to do this, then send it in a seperate PM titled, "max offers". Also, give me instructions as to what days you want additional offers to be submitted on. We will be simming days 6-10 tonight. Last night, i mentioned in another thread that we would be doing this, so I don't want anyone to think that this is the first i mentioned it. I gave about 24 hours notice, so that should be plenty of notice.

2) offers can be made through AIM just like last time. I am not going to be making limits such as, you can only make offers if one of your players didn't sign. I don't think it is necessary. Anyone can make offers to any players during the live sim. If someone doesn't like that, then tough. If you can't be there, there is an option for submitting additional offers, so please use it. Most of the league does enjoy this option, and I think this is the best way to run free agency. New things are sometimes difficult to get used to, but that doesn't mean they are bad.

I'm hoping this sim goes faster, so please send me your offers as soon as we proceed to the next day. I will tell you when they have been entered, but if you wait too long, i may sim without entering them. so you have been warned.

The issue that I have with the whole live FA thing is its right now impossible for me to make the live sims because I would work/setup lights for our church's youth group (Tuesday) virtually every night at around 6 (PST, I'm a west coaster). I think if this was brought up as a suggestion before FA then I would be kosher with it. But to have it come up as sudden as it did. I took exception to it. I just wished it was planned out more.

And with the impact that FA does bring to the present (and sometimes future), you have to be really careful on how you handle the live sims. Maybe, I'm off base with this but it could become a parity issue if the same people show up to the FA Sims and steal a player away from an active GM that can't make the live sims. There are pros and cons to everything but this is a real touchy subject for me. I like FA the way its been for the 8,000 years ive been here lol.

I understand your frustration, but the majority of us live in the US and thus it makes more sense to fit our time zone.

You can't find a time slot that appeals to everyone.

As it is, I can only make it if it's on a weekend or work is slow because most people work days, and thus it makes sense to put the time slots in the evening (US time)...when I'm at work
