Spring Training is over, and the site has been updated. Please check your team over to make sure everything looks right, and send in changes for the first sim by the deadline.

Also, the created players are up on the site as well. I had a lot of info to enter, so let me know if I made any mistakes.

You should be able to have a way of having a smaller file without .jpg's etc....

omg i don't get it, i used a completely new name. i really thought that would work. back to the drawing board, there has to be a way around this problem.

It's definitely a different zip file. It's actually 2 league "files" in one. It unzips as cssl1.lg, which has "newer" files dated 6/5/08 (in the old zip, the newest files were 5/19/08), as well as the sub-folders MESSAGES, league_news_box, and EXPIMP. Oddly, it also contains the entire "old" league file, crazystrikessim.lg as a fourth sub-folder. That sub-folder contains all of the old files dated 5/19/08 and earlier, as well as its own folders MESSAGES, league_news_box, and EXPIMP (and LOGOS, and PHOTOS). It appears that the 6/5/08 files under cssl1.lg match the 5/19/08 files under cssl1.lg/crazystrikessim.lg as far as file size goes.

Once unzipped, I pulled crazystrikessim.lg out of cssl1.lg so I could try each "league" separately, and they appear to match on the surface (I didn't go any deeper than checking my team's record).

What this means, I'm not sure. One positive, you're not stuck regenerating the exact same zip file due to some static temp file. Whatever you did, you successfully created a new zip file with different contents. Unfortunately, those contents still aren't right.

thanks dani...that helps...i think. lol cssl1.lg is what i renamed the file. i'm going ot try and get any old files that aren't needed, out of there. i don't know how they are getting in there though.

i slimmed it down, so lets try it again. the new zip is uploading now, it should be up in about 5 minutes. it's going a lot faster this time.
