    I don't know, but basically:

    + rep lowers ERA
    - rep raises ERA
    increments of posts raise your ERA (not sure, every 500 or something)

    I think longevity on the forums factors into it as well.

    in order for it to be quantum physics you have to multiply by the gravitation constant over the space-time continuum.
