Some might like it, some might not. But you'll see when I upload the site next.

    So what did I do...

I tested the hypothesis that says we can't contract and have a successful league. I contracted 6 teams, turning the league layout into 6 4-team divisions. Then I simmed a bunch of seasons, and well, here's the result.

I'm fairly happy with it, and it's a very distinct possibility that we will contract next offseason. I need to think about how we will handle that, but for now, enjoy seeing how your players and teams worked out while being automanaged for 5 or so seasons.

so you deleted 6 teams for the test. is that how many you're planning on eliminating? because that seems like a lot to me. I mean, it wouldn't diminish the enjoyment of the league i don't think, but it wouldn't give very many new people the opportunity to be a part of the league. I know I have a few people lined up to take some of the open teams in the very near future.

I kind of like the idea. It would make it a much tighter knit group, and there are always a few inactive GMs whose teams just waste away

Vice City was like the 90s Atlanta Braves during that auto-manage sim.

Won the division every year except the last one, but never won the WS.

my club was ran poorly. Dont understand what the game thinks at all. Traded away the good specs I have for vets. Took on Berkman - Nady to start. Then it traded all my good hitters in the outfield. THE game made the Twins a 60 win team.

and why the hell was the World Series 5 - 2 again?!?! Can you fix that already

and since when are the divisional round 7 game series?

Re: I've got a little bit of a surprise for you guys

Yeah, I was messing around with that stuff too. Made the playoffs 7-7-9 instead of 5-7-7. I like the idea of a 9 game World Series.

Hyrule slowly falls off the map. The team was awfully managed. Almost no players on my team now are still on the team in 2014. That's kind of dumb.

Jamal Cress won 4 straight LF gold gloves though lol

oh, ok...that's cool. I wasn't sure you wanted to change that. I thought it was a mistake from before.

And regarding relocation, I agree strongly with Doppel. A smaller, more tightly-ran league would be great. Inactive GMs would be replaced a lot quickly, and the general sense of competition in the league would improve, I believe.
