    Re: Franchise Players

you're funny prov. prov wants to fix people in TSSL, but when he fixes them, he doesn't really fix them. he just makes it look like he's fixing them so he looks good. but in reality, he's not "fixing" them. when a guy loses talent, fixing them consists of putting them back to where they dropped from. not putting them to their actuals...

and it's not a matter of experience, it's a matter of opinion.

i'm really glad you called me out on this prov, even though the whole idea of PRIVATE messaging is so that things stay PRIVATE. dumbass...

my point is that any restoration should be welcomed and praised since it doesn't need to be done at all...

right, I'm not fixing anyone...if I didn't fix anyone, I'd leave them...any return is better than what the game did.

If that's not fixing them, what is it...
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

    Re: Franchise Players

it's barely editing them so he can say he's fixing them. he restores the player to their ACTUALS, not what their talent was.

and he told me he hardly ever fixes them anyways. like, if a spec has 3 actuals but 10 talent in power, and he drops to 8 power, he obviously can't use his method to "restore" the player, so he doesn't. so he really doesn't fix many players anyways

    Re: Franchise Players

i'm not talking about this anymore. prov and i discussed this over PM, and he decided to be disrespectful and make it public, in an insulting way towards me. so this conversation is over.

and next time prov, when you talk about something over PRIVATE messaging, remember what the word PRIVATE means

    Re: Franchise Players

god damn you're thick-headed...I've explained this time and time again to you. I will not fix prospects unless they're in the majors already...specs lose talent all the time and gain talent; that's part of the game. I don't need to fix anyone. I fix players that:

    1. are under 30
    2. lose talent unrelated to an injury

and for the final time...the reason they get returned to actuals is because sometimes players don't reach talent! They sometimes lose talent because they don't reach it. That's what happens. I'm not returning players to something they never reached. If a player is at 10/10 and falls to 10/8, I'll return them to 10,10...if a player is 7/8 and falls to 7/6, they'll go to 7/7. Be thankful that they get returned at all...who else does that at this point? Your friggin' pitcher fell to 62 talent and I returned him to 69 since that is where is actuals were, he never reach 75 or whatever it was and he may never have.

    Re: Franchise Players

it's not private when it's a league issue...everyone else that I've fixed players for has been thankful. you're the only one who hasn't been satisfied. I'm not apologizing for that.

I apologize for bringing it to this forum, but it was somewhat related to the proposal at hand as I was sharing what I do in TSSL, but perhaps I'll do nothing now since it's not appreciated.

my last thought on this and then I'm done...

I never did it to make myself look good my ego is not tied to the interweb. I did it because I thought it was better than doing nothing, but I guess it wasn't.

Good God , Is there any SIM leagues that this shit don't go on in it? It is now moving over from one league to another.
