I feel like giving up

I was about to enter some line-up changes that I received, and announce a start for the league. So I open the league file, and all of the players are gone. I kept trying and retrying, and nothing worked. So I unzipped the file that I made to be downloaded from the website. It works, but it is from before the draft... so all of the teams are empty. This is frustrating...I don't know what to do now, and I just feel like giving up before we even get started.

yeah...the file opens fine, and it shows the standings page with all of the correct teams. When I go to the league setup screen, almanac, league setup, ect then eveything works fine. When I try to go to a team or free agents, then it closes. So I went to the almanac and searched for players, but no player shows up. It's as if everything is there except the players.

I'd post over at OOTP... Someone will fix you. I know one time I was in a tizzy because the game wouldn't sim. Come to find out the AI had put the same player in the lineup twice on an open team. As soon as I fixed it the file was fine. It is probably something like that. It may take a day or two but someone will answer you with ideas. Searching for "lost players" or something like that might help as well. G'nite.

I've had 2 good teams in a row.

I'd put money on when this finally all settles and gets working I end up with a horrible team.

Sim leagues are just cursed on here. Even s3sl had a few hiccups that could have been potentially sim killers.

If you can't the file to work, I suggest a return to a standard league setup. Forget about expansion, contraction, and four divisions. You've hypothesized before that these radical changes might have been the cause of the glitches to the first SBSL file.

I'm for whatever Crazy wants, I mean I'd like to be in your league. But I can understand how this just isn't fun for you anymore. The one time we even got a sim in, who's to say that won't happen again? Hopefully it won't, but I won't fault you for saying F*** it. Just let us know what you decide.

I mean, it seems to work just fine for the other four leagues we have here.
