i dont care how much dam quibbles over what newharts rating should or should not be, hes downright mediocre for a 5 star spect, and kerry wood sucks balls. i like avila just as much as newhart, and the 17th pick is way more valuable than kerry wood, money or not. declined.

Dam has been really annoying me since I took over...I wonder if KoZ or Redsfan ever felt that way. That being said...Wood has sucked horribly for the last 3 seasons. Colorado would get a better spec with that 1st round pick than Newhart. I'm failing as well.

I think Avila's low overall ratings is enough for Kerry Wood. If OrioleMagic wants to pay $7.5 for a shot in the dark that Wood rebounds, that's his problem. That said, I'll take both of your words that the 17th pick is worth a lot more than Newhart.
