No telling what will happen with this team. I like my lineup, I feel it is solid. While I don't have one game breaker, I do have 9 guys top to bottom who are decent... Shoppach would be considered decent if his average could actually match his power production. Here's hoping for .230 this year, Kelly. Putting Drago in at first... I feel he is ready enough, and if he develops enough, could give me the big masher I need in the middle of my lineup. I actually love my bench too... good versatile guys, decent hitters, good defenders.

Rotation...well it blows. After Sheets and Olsen, I don't have much... I'm expecting too much from Matt Morris. Meyer was decent last season, so I am praying for improvement. Windsor has to pitch better. Because he can't pitch much worse. Its fitting that his win-loss record was 9-11, because his season was a ****ing disaster.

Bullpen sucks except for Reyes. Too reliant on Rookies, and Backe, who hasn't pitched in a year... We'll see what happens.

Wow I thought I wasted money on him... If you get anything out of him its more than I did. I think your rotation might outperform what you think it will. Windsor might not ever remind someone of the days of Harden, Mulder, and Hudson but he should become a solid middle of the rotation guy.

You got some offense to make noise with and what should be pretty good d. That would be huge for you.

Re: 2010 Land of Oak Athletics Baseball Club

Morris was the best starter I could get short term for cheap. I may be expecting a bit much from him, but I can always replace him if he stinks. He isn't a true #3... Meyer is my 3rd best, but I stuck him at the 4 to split the lefties up. Windsor should do better... but I felt he was going to improve after losing 20 games the year before, and didn't really.

I was really hoping Reyes would develop into a 7 endurance so I could start him... but that didn't pan out the way I expected it to.

Offense is fine... everyone top to bottom should hit 15+ HR... with Swisher, Chavez, Ramirez and Shoppach hitting around 25-30 each. If shoppach ever decides to hit for average, he may be a good ballplayer. Its almost embarassing that he was an all-star last season.

    Crap? I RESENT THAT.

I don't think its that bad... if Windsor improves... and I land another respectable SP, I should be alright.

If your pitching stops my 1-6, then I bow before you.
