Wow, you finally got rid of him.![]()
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
well, signing both Gregg and Mitre forced me to dump him as I wasn't going to sign him anyway. He pitched well the last 2 years winning 29 games, but in his 4 years with STL he was 44 - 48 with a 4.07 ERA...at $5 mil for the last 3 years he wasn't a terrible #4 starter.
edit: BJD needed some pitching, too. Chen did make the ASG and win a GG in 2008...he served STL decently...
I'm real scared, BJD. You counter Liriano and Oswalt with... Chen? Psssh, ahahahaha
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

but Porter is countering Oswalt with Escobar![]()
Oh yeah, Mr. Cripple is scary. He's had bad injuries the last two seasons, t-minus a couple of months before his elbow falls off.

And id take a 26 yr old SP over the aging yet uber-talented Oswalt.

I don't think championships are decided by the 5th starter...just saying![]()
