    well, signing both Gregg and Mitre forced me to dump him as I wasn't going to sign him anyway. He pitched well the last 2 years winning 29 games, but in his 4 years with STL he was 44 - 48 with a 4.07 ERA...at $5 mil for the last 3 years he wasn't a terrible #4 starter.

    edit: BJD needed some pitching, too. Chen did make the ASG and win a GG in 2008...he served STL decently...

    Oh yeah, Mr. Cripple is scary. He's had bad injuries the last two seasons, t-minus a couple of months before his elbow falls off.

    So Escobar is a better 5th starter than about 75% of the league right now.
