ive hit on all but 2 of my targets that have accepted offers this offseason (dotel and the hiroharu), so im pretty damn satisfied there.. my team is looking very solid for the upcoming year. just need to see if one more piece is going to sign.

    THIRTY MILLION DOLLARS?!?!?

I'm very happy with this round...got myself a solid SP in Garland and catchers in Torrealba and Castro.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Wow 30 mil for Willis?!?! *Sends Johan 10000 more Thank you for not being all about the money*

Morris probably starts the season as my #3. I just hope Stitch and the rest of the AAA all stars get their butts in gear if I plan on repeating.

Cody Ross and Mike Gosling provides some young depth. Not quite sure where they fit. Still looking for help on offense. Going to throw a couple guys on the trade block right now and see who bites.

You can take Santana and add Pujols to it and still not reach Willis' contract.

he probably had the offer in the bag already, so it already factored out the 30 mil offer... which really means he had 35 mil available to spend. its quite complicated, but im sure zito will attest he had enough money to make the move.

    This was from LA's emails:
    Date: Sunday, 2/5/2009
    Subject: Your offer sounds good
I have to admit that I like your offer.
So far, it's the best one I've received.

    Regards,
    Dontrelle Willis

Would that have been last round? In which case he could have either kept that offer or just threw a couple mil more on top of it.

I get to see what it will take to sign Harden this year...if I have a problem I can stash him in AAA so he won't become a FA like Dawk did with Soriano.

    Oh, and yay another reliever!
