SO if I made a 7.5 mil offer last round, that offer stands. And that means I can shell out another 7.5 mil offer?
Oho, well I decided it wasn't enough anyway. I PM'd you all my old offers to make sure along with the new ones.
so each period we can offer $21 million total even if the other offers are still out there?
For example I offered a total of $21 in the 1st period. $2.25 million signed. What can I submit next round in addition to the $19.75 million outstanding? Can I only submit another $2.25 to get back to $21? Or can I submit another $21 (assuming I had it)?

OK, then I am going to PM you my old offers again and some adjusted ones, k? Thanks
i can spend another 21 million on top of whatever ive spent in free agency already? im incredulous, so i need to make sure.Originally Posted by CrazyEights
Actually Hammer, you only have $11 million left. Just because you can offer up to 21 mil per period doesn't mean you'll have enough to.
Dry is correct. $21 Mil is the limit as long as you have enough cash to spend. You can't offer more than the amount of cash that you have available to spend.
so 21 mil is just like a ceiling? if a team has 50 mil to spend, they can only offer up 21 mil, yes?
Yeah...we have had that rule for a few seasons to keep teams with a ton of money offerin big contracts to all of the top free agents all at once. It is actually a $21Mil limit, and you can only submit one offer for more than $8Mil per period.Originally Posted by Hammer
I sent in my offers. I wouldn't mind you simming one day tonight.
makes sense, i can dig itOriginally Posted by CrazyEights
Yea, I have about $37 million for FA...I don't plan on spending that much, but I could if I wanted. I just wasn't sure if it was $21 total all the way through, but Crazy answered my question. Thanks again.
