Seperated themselves from the Angels and Express with 6-1 sim, while keeping pace with Seattle.

5/25: W 5-4 (11) @ ANA -- Vancouver jumped out a 3 spot in the 1st inning only to let that lead go away. The Angels jumped out to a 4-3 lead when the Vultures tied it in the 9th. Rafael Soriano and Derek Tate tagged teamed in shutting down the door with 3 and 2/3 innings of 1 hit baseball.

5/26: L 5-4 (11) @ ANA -- This seems like the Angels and Vultures are very evenly matched. After the Vultures won in 11 innings, Soriano coming of a strong but long outing the day before gave up the winning run. The Bullpen of ANA won this battle.

Hitter of the Game: Andre Dawson 1 for 5, 1 HR, 3 RBIs
Pitcher of the Game: Eric Gagne 3 IP, 0 H, 3 Ks

5/27: W 10-7 @ ANA -- The much-improved offense came thru in a big way. Fifteen hits by nine different batters. Only Juan Richardson was the only regular to not earn a hit in this game. Actually was up 6-3 and blew that lead only to come back with four runs in the 9th. JD Drew showed some signs of production, which will only make the top three of the order much better. The defense turned four double plays. Once again the Vulture bullpen saves the day.

5/28: W 4-3 vs LV -- The caridac kids had no buisness letting LV back in the game after Carl Pavano outdued Ex-Vulture Jeff Francis. Jonathon Broxton allowed his 1st earned run of the season to give LV the lead at 3-2. The bottom of the order made the difference of this game. JD Drew remained hot with his 3rd HR in two games.

Pitcher of the game- Carl Pavano 7.1 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 5 K, 1 BB

5/29: W 10-4 vs LV -- The Express had no answer as the Vultures jumped out to a 6-0 lead and never looked back. Everyone contributed to the attack led by Juan Richardsons 3 RBIs. Fernando Rodney added to the proven fact that the Vultures can have the one of the top five bullpens in baseball with his 2nd straight save.

Pitcher of the game- Fernando Rodney 2.2 IP, 2 H, 3 Ks, SV

5/30: W 7-2 vs LV -- When the offense clicks, theres a hard time beating this team. Espically when the starting pitching decides to show up like Moreno did today. 7 and a third innings of 2 run baseball earned him the Victory. Las Vegas did lead 2-0 after 1. The Vultures answered with seven unanswered runs.
