    so davis didnt want to race in some stupid team pursuit. Why should he? Its not his place to help Hedrick. Since thats what it comes down to really. Hedrick just wanted a shot at 5 golds.

    of course Davis should have been concerned mostly about the 1000 meter race. Speedskating is an individual sport.

    ^ Yeah, you're right. What SHOULD be done to fix this whole mess is for the speed skating bosses to schedule their events better. The relays and pursuits should be the LAST events that take place, not right in the middle of the Olympics with individual events still to come.
