    lol.

Young is definitely going to bust. Watch his draft stock fall.

As for Texans, look for them to trade down or take D'Brick Ferguson with the #1 pick. I believe the interest in Bush and Young that Texans are putting out there is just a smokescreen.

As if there weren't enough CBA problems...

As I'm sure you all know by now, the NFL is having somewhat of a labor dispute. The NFL and NFLPA are trying to hammer out a new collective bargaining agreement, and in the interim, are trying to figure out how the current collective bargaining agreement will work for the 2006 and 2007 seasons. One of the issues that came up was how roster bonuses would be treated for these seasons. In the past, teams have been able to transform roster bonuses into signing bonuses, and prorate these bonuses over several years. Since the current CBA is set to expire in 2008, signing bonus money can only be prorated over 4 years now, rather than the traditional 7 years that was in place for quite some time. Several teams have huge roster bonus payments to make, and had planned to transform said roster bonuses into signing bonus money and prorate it over the remaining 4 years that the CBA accounts for. This is where "Special Master" Stephen Burbank comes in. A Special Master, for those of you who might be wondering, is a neutral party who is called in to interpret the language of a contract, but can make no changes to said contract. So, Mr. Burbank was called in to do the job of a Special Master. Unfortunately, someone who could be given the title Special Ed could've done a better job. Burbank decided that all roster bonus money would count as signing bonus money for purposes of prorating the money, and that any roster bonus could be prorated as long as the prorating of said signing bonus money does not violate the 30% rule, which states that no player's 2007 salary shall incrase by more than 30% of their total 2006 salary, which doesn't sound too bad at first, that is until you take a look at the massive roster bonuses some players are scheduled to receive in 2006. The result of this ruling is that a lot of teams are in cap trouble they should not be in, and there's almost nothing they can do about it. One thing they can do is challenge the ruling in court, which the Indianapolis Colts, one of the teams put in a financial bind by Burbank's ruling, have begun to do. If all goes well, Burbank's insane, nonsensical ruling that prohibits a standard industry practice in the NFL will be overturned and several NFL teams will not be left feeling the long term impact of a person who has absolutely nothing to do with the NFL, and should not have anything to do with how it works.

The lowest score any NFL starting quarterback who started in 2005 was J.P. Losman's 14. This shouldn't be a huge factor in Young's draft status.
LMAO. Is that why JP Losman sucks?

Wonderlic scores are not a very good indicator of NFL success. Peyton Manning had a 28, Ryan Leaf had a 27, Donovan McNabb had a 16, Akili Smith had a 15, and so did Daunte Culpepper. It has almost no effect on a player's draft status, unless someone scores something like a 6 (like Young did).

I don't mean to be racist, but seriously...And Leaf was ravaged by injury and had no team around him. Akili Smith was pure garbage. To be honest the NFL has been about supporting cast. (see Interception Machine Brett Favre, and Dan Marino, 2 of the greatest QB's ever)

Congratulations Dry, you're smarter than at least 85% of the football watching community, because you get that one player (whether or not he's at the QB position) can not effect a game drastically enough to win it or lose it in most, if not all, cases.
