I think with the versatility that they Patriots have. They could probably move Troy Brown to Linebacker. It shouldn't be different or anything new to the Pats. Lest we forget the time they like Colvin and 6 other people a couple of years ago and still won. Or win with the great Earthwind Mooreland as your stud corner. They won without Ty Law. I think they will contend for a title without Bruschi. The only concern is how the OFFENSE will do with Bill running the shots. Hes one of the best defensive coaches ever. And their depth will be no issue. Bruschi will still be around for moral support, he is the heart and soul of that defense.

Now we turn to talk about golf, where Michelle Wie is stru-ga-ling in the Evian Masters in France. Guys..do you see Wie making impact in women's golf in the next 10 years, or slowly fading away into oblivion? Hammer?

She's what, 16 years old? I wouldn't be too worried. She outdrives some of the guys on tour. She's got a smooth putting stroke. Tiger Woods struggled when he first came to teh tour too, it took him a year or so to go from Eldrick to Tiger. I wouldn't worry about her, she has the fundamental game, now she just needs to put it together with the mental game.

    She's 15 by the way.

She maybe 15. But when she decides to stop trying to be in the PGA and focus on beating the women. She will become a better player, shes pressing way too much early in her career. She could be the answer to Annika Sorenstam, the best female player in the world. Kinda like Vijay or Mickelson to Tiger. Until she figures out the PGA can come later, she will not make a huge impact in the near future in the LPGA. Its going to be Annika dominating worse than Tiger does the men.

SHE'S 15 FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. She is a great golfer, but she is obviously not good enough for the PGA. The press is putting way too much on her shoulders and she can't live up to it...i don't think any 15 year old could. She will make an impact in the golf scene, she just doesn't need this pressure, otherwise in 10 or so years she will become a has-been. The press needs to just lay off this lady for a bit, and let her do her thing. She will be good, but come on she's 15.

As has been said a few times now...she is only 15. Peaks and valleys are the name of the game for anyone at that age. She will look incredible at times and lost at other times. It's the nature of the beast. Heck, some folks still get on Tiger Woods these days for not winning every single major, and he's way more experienced than she is. It's all about progressing naturally, and as is the case for all great talents, the best way to allow them to develop is to just go and and play the game. That's the case here as well. To all of those who jump on her back like she should be winning everything *shame on you... shame on you*.

At the end of round one, here is how we stand:

    Ghetto with 9
    Cincy with 11
    Porter with 10
    Hammer with 12

    Buy Or Sell is now.

Leading off...Yesterday, Curtis Schilling of the Boston Red s0x earned his first save since becoming the Boston interim closer and his first since 1992. Buy or sell Schilling as an effective closer, Cincy?

Sell. He just isn't a Closer. That's not what he's destined to be. He's destined to be a starter, going out there every inning and concentrating on each batter like it's his job.... wait...it is. Anyway, he certainly has the bulldog mentality that many good Closers need, but he has no experience as one, and why the heck would you want him to become one now? It's not like he is so old that he's no longer able to pitch deep into games. He still has as much endurance as anyone when he's healthy.

Buy for the rest of the season. Hes got the endurance to be a starter. But lets face it his ankle isnt even 80% right now and with the uncertainity of Foulke and the well know Closer's ability that Mike Timlin has at times. His bulldog mental makeup and his UNCANNY ability to scout batters between games will get him threw this season. He would be a better help for the pen right now to make the playoffs and will be a starter in 2006.
