He only got 20 games. A total shame. He should have been out until Moore came back, if ever.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news?slu...v=ap&type=lgnsANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- The Anaheim Mighty Ducks traded two longtime mainstays Tuesday, sending center Steve Rucchin to the New York Rangers and left wing Mike Leclerc to the Phoenix Coyotes.
The 34-year-old Rucchin was dealt to the Rangers in exchange for left wing Trevor Gillies and a conditional pick in the 2007 NHL draft.
Anaheim received another conditional pick in the same draft from the Coyotes in the deal for the 28-year-old Leclerc.
Gillies, 26, appeared in 49 games for Hartford of the AHL last year, with two assists and 277 penalty minutes. In 2003-2004, he played 61 games with Springfield of the AHL and finished with two goals, one assist and 277 penalty minutes.
Trades do nothing for Anaheim, but Sather is like Isiah Thomas as a GM, so maybe Gillies will be a stud tough guy.
