John Madden Retires

John Madden will no longer be broadcasting NFL games. He has been the voice of NFL for a long, long time and it will be sad to see him no longer in the booth. Sure he sounded dumb sometimes but he still had a such a passion for the game that it made it tolerable. I hate football and think the sport has soured but Madden helped me get through that. No word on if his video games will continue.

I couldn't agree more. The guy said some real dumb things, but he really was a positive addition to the broadcast booth. He is one of the most football-knowledgeable people on the planet. It will be sad to see him go.
