What an awful race. Earnhardt is a dickhead for that wreck, all his fault. He ruined the best car of the day in Kyle Busch. Honestly, there was really nothing NASCAR could have done with all that rain, but it sucks that it was rain shortened. Take nothing away from Kenseth, he did a great job. But that wreck that Earnhardt started ruined the whole race. What an ass. I have never liked him. I work for a NASCAR show, and the hosts of the show have interviewed every single driver on the circut except Earnhardt, and the reason is because he stood them up for his interview. Just an overall asshole.

I think it's ture, the bad side of "Little E" is coming out. It was always there, just not in front of people as much as today.

But I don't place all the onous of Jr for that wreck, I do believe that Vickers had a role in that too. You can't be making that block with so many laps to go. Yeah I know your trying to stay the top guy one lap down, but still. BUt it was still a terrible move to come up like Jr did as well. I got it at about 75% Jr, 25% Vickers.

I am still open to ideas as to any other additions, complaints or something to add to the Turn 3 Racing League.
I think your format is pretty good. This actually gives me a reason to pay attention to NASCAR, something I've never done in the past. Granted, I won't watch the races, but I'll actually look and see what place the guy I picked got in...that counts for something.

Thanks, I wanted to keep it simple, cause there isn't a whole lot of NASCAR fans around these parts.

are we not doing this long-term?

I'll pick Harvick for this race, but I expect Johnson, Kyle Busch, or some random guy to win.

    Re: Daytona 500 PickEm's

Kyle Busch won the truck series race and then the Nationwide race yesterday. If he three-peats, that would simply be amazing.

    I'm going with Jimmie Johnson.

    Re: Daytona 500 PickEm's

I wasn't planning on doing this one, I've been busy playing in a pond hockey tourny this weekend so I didn't have much time to do a thread or anything else.

I have been working on a schedule for the season, so I was gonna get that out this week at sometime.

    Re: Daytona 500 PickEm's

Here is the list that I have made up for the Turn 3 Racing Series
I am still thinking about other races to add, or subtract so this is not set in stone. This would include Daytona, and start again this coming weekend

    Feb 28/Mar 1 Las Vegas - Cup

    Mar 7/8 Atlanta - Cup
    14/15 - NHRA Gatornationals
    21/22 Bristol - Cup / Sebring 12 Hrs - ALMS
    28/29 Martinsville - Cup/Truck

    Apr 4/5 Texas - Cup&Nationwide
    11/12 Qatar Gp - MotoGP
    18/19 Phoenix - Cup / Long Beach - IndyCar
    25/26 Talladega - Cup & Nationwide

May 2/3 Richmond - Cup / Las Vegas - AMA Supercross
    9/10 Spanish GP - F1 / Darlington - Cup
16/17 All Star Race - Cup
    23/24 Indy 500 - IndyCar / World 600 - Cup
30/31 USA (Utah) - World Superbike

    June 6/7 Nashville - Nationwide
    13/14 Michigan - Cup - 24 Hrs of LeMans
    20/21 British GP - F1 / Sears Point - Cup
    27/28 NH - Cup

    July 3/4/5 Daytona - Cup & Nationwide
    11/12 Chicago - Cup
    18/19
    25/26 Indy - Cup / IRP-Nationwide

    Aug 1/2
    8/9 Watkins Glen - Cup
    15/16 Michigan -Cup
    22/23 Bristol - Cup
    29/30 Indy GP-Moto GP / Montreal-Nationwide

Sept 5/6 Atlanta -Cup / NHRA US Nationals
    12/13 Richmond-Cup
    19/20 NH-Cup
    26/27 Petit LeMans - ALMS

    Oct 3/4 Kansas-Cup
    10/11 California -Cup
    17/18 GP Brasil - F1/ Charlotte-Cup
    24/25 Martinsville-Cup

    Oct 31/ Nov 1 Talladega-Cup
    7/8 Texas-Cup
    14/15 Phoenix-Cup / NHRA Finals
    21/22 Homestead - Cup

For all Cup, Nationwide, and Truck series races, you will pick just the one driver. For the Motorbike races, you will also just pick the one rider. For the F1, and IndyCar races, you also pick the one driver.
For the NHRA races, you pick one driver from any of the 4 Pro classes. Points will be awarded on how far they go into eliminations. If your driver falls out in Round 1, you get 2 pts, Round 2, 4pts, etc.
For the ALMS races and Le Mans you will pick one car out of the GT class, and one car out of the LMP1 or LMP2 class.

All of the races I have on here will have entry lists, and points standings that I will be able to provide links too. For those races that you have no idea what is gonna happen, you can simply look up the list, pick a driver, and post your pick.

Any questions of concerns let me now
