Why can't multiple people pick the same guy, and plus it should pick your top 3 and then you get 3x the points awarded to your #1 driver, 2x for your #2 and 1x for your #3 driver. That would take more skill but multiple people should be able to pick the same driver

I just hate it when everyone takes the same 5 drivers and than you get everyone on the same amount of points. But I like the idea of three different levels of points being scored. I may even start ranking the drivers into different groups based on their point posistions, and make everyone have to take one driver out of the bottom half or something.

I am open to any ideas too, so if you have some, say some.

Also, later into the summer, I am gonna throw in some different races too. Formula 1, Indy, Sports Car (ALMS,LeMans), and some motorcycle races. Random events will be just the one driver since there isn't a full field of 43 drivers to pick from.

Just let people pick who they want...and go with cj's idea of giving the most points to picking the winner, and then less as you go down the line

I'm in a NASCAR pool that my dad runs, his scoring is pretty close to that and as follows:
25-20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2
5 points for pole, 15 bonus for winning from the pole

The way he does it is there are 6 groups with 7 different drivers, you pick one driver from each group (you're allowed to make changes though). Group A is the top 7 drivers, Group B the next 14, etc., with rookies in Group F

I have Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch, Juan Pablo Montoya, David Reutimann, and Joey Logano...last year was rough, hopefully those guys all drive to their potential though.

The biggest race of the year and the rain stops it. Rain or not you wait till you can race again! BS on nascar's part. With only 48 laps to go to. Jeff Gordon would have won this race. Anyways poor choice to stop the race. If I were the fans I would ask for a refund!
