Would you fine a player for making a snow angel?

After scoring a TD or any other positive thing?

They were really quick to bust Welker's balls over this, and it took 14 weeks to do something to Matt found dead one day in a trailer park Jones. Welker's white too! Next explanation, mofo?

This is the stupidest joke of a fine ever. C'mon Roger. You're making a mockery of the NFL's disciplinary system

Here's my proposal: After every "fineable" celebration, poll the fans. If they thought it was funny/not insulting enough to fine, he gets off. If the fans say it was stupid, fine his ass.

I can see a flag for it, but a fine is just insane. They're making more of a case for calling this the No Fun League every week.

The fact that he was flagged for this is stupid.

The fine is nothing but an absolute joke.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

This is the No Fun League were talking about. Kids make snow angels all the time. Its not like he pranced around drawing attention to him THEN did it. Save the fines for celebrations that matter.

I was surprised to see the flag.

    Short answer -- "No".
I have several dogs that like to make snow angels and I don't fine them for doing so.

Re: Would you fine a player for making a snow angel?

They're getting way out of hand with the punishment of celebrations.

He shouldn't even have been flagged.

By that, I mean it shouldn't be a rule. I realize by the rulebook he should have been flagged, but it's a stupid rule.

What did Welker really do? He stayed on the ground and waved his arms and legs a few times.

I think as long as the player doesn't go to extensive lengths to rub it into the opponent and as long as his celebratory act doesn't delay the game it should be perfectly acceptable.

What's the harm in endzone celebrations? I mean, yeah they look like selfish jackasses when they get a bit flashy, but so what? Who are they harming?

If the other team gets upset about it then let them. They can channel that anger into not letting the person burn them the next time.

So its okay to fine them for snow angel. But its not okay to fine them for cussing out a fan in email or be William Clay Ford or Al Davis.
