    NCAA Orange Basketball

We need a Syracuse thread, right? They just lost for the first time this year, and it was to Cleveland State, because of a 65-foot swish at the buzzer.

Still 9-1 on the year though, with wins over Florida and Kansas, so no panic yet.

Cleveland State is good, but thats why I had Syracuse as a 4 seed in my bracketology and not on the top 2 lines. Come tourney time this loss will hurt on the resume, but they will still be fine

    I'm not worried at all.

Yes this sucks. But Cleveland State is an ok team, and it's a 65-footer......how can you be mad about that? I would agree with CJ, this team is about a 4-seed. Definitely not a top-2 seed, but good enough to be in the top-20, that's for sure

This loss won't hurt as much as you think, if at all. Cleveland State is picked to come in 2nd in the Horizon conference, behind only Butler. They're a decent team, and with the wins over Florida and Kansas, we'll be more than fine.

You can't say it won't hurt a little bit, i'm not saying devastating loss but it will prolly cause you 1 seed line

I don't think so. Every team has one less than stellar loss. However, with the wins we have, I don't think that this one loss will cost us anything. Personally, I wouldn't put this team higher than a 6 or 7 seed anyway.

It's the Memphis game that will be telling of the team. If we lose bad to them, we're in trouble. If we are really close or beat them, we're in GREAT shape

Great effort Leo, but just not enough depth.

I don't think a loss to Memphis puts us in trouble....but a win would be excellent.

Florida and Kansas are nice names and still good wins but neither of those teams is very good. SU is still a bubble type team and when Devendorf gets suspended for the year they will have ahard time making the Tourney.
