The NHL are wusses for a suspension over a comment. But you can hit someone in the head and only get 3 games. That makes perfect sense Bettman. Tom Hicks, if you suspended him for that comment, you should be removed from being the owner of the Rangers and Stars.

Someone on Rome is Burning made a great point on Tom Hicks. He said Hicks wouldn't suspend Milton Bradley for charging into a broadcaster's booth during a game but he will suspend a guy who says "sloppy seconds"? And really, what the **** is wrong with saying sloppy seconds? Last I checked, you can say *********, shit, ass and plenty other far harsher things than sloppy seconds. Sloppy seconds is not part of the seven dirty words. Grow up people!!

Makes a professional sports league look bad if they let players say anything they want, despite you know, we having the right to free speech but it's an image thing. He gets 6 game suspension for calling Elisha loose while Matt Jones has not even been penalized for being a coke-fiend. Pro sports and their priorities I tell ya.
