    Is this the greatest time to be a sports fan?

    October baseball.
    The NFL season is in full swing.
    The NHL season has started
    NBA pre-season
    College Football has BCS polls out this week (though that is not the best thing in sports).
    Plus there are other college sports in the swing of things, right?
    Season ending championships in Tennis and Golf.
    Big racing in NASCAR, and a great sports car race (watch the ALMS season finale at Laguna Seca this weekend folks, it will be a thing of beauty)

    Is there a better time to be a sports fan? I can only think of March as a challenge.

    I'd have to say now because I'm not much of a basketball fan, NBA or College.

    yes, just because of october baseball, college football and the NFL. thats enough for me.
