NFL Favre Considering Returning From Retirement...Again...

ESPN is reporting that Brett Favre has contacted the Packers about returning to the team at the beginning of next year.

This is ridiculous. He's good. No, scratch that, he's great. But come on dude! Nobody's going to take you seriously if you do this now. Stay in retirement please, and seal your legacy as one of the best quarterbacks to play the game, not the most wishy-washy quarterback to play the game.

    He's worse than Roger Clemens.

I wouldn't go that far. But I would lose a lot of respect for him if he does come back. Please Brett, stay retired. For everyone's sake.

I agree with you all he should stay retired. It is not that we all know if he would comeback he wouldn't be great, but it is a respect thing. All this wishy-washy stuff about retiring lately makes players look silly at times. Brett stay retired, enjoy your time, and let us preserve the legacy that you have given all of us over the years.

Oh god, no, not again! Please stay retired Brett. Favre is already a legacy in Green Bay and wouldn't it be a risk that he could lose some of it if he is actually coming back? Not such a good idea.

This is the first time Farve has actually retired but I get what you guys are saying. I feel bad for Aaron Rodgers. I saw this guy on Rome is Burning and he impressed me a lot. He is poised to be the starter this season and I think he should be. Brett, no.

Just heard on ESPN that Favre is saying this is nothing but a rumor.

Ahaha, 90% of the rumors aren't true. So are you saying that rumor was also false, aren't you, Brett?

Just stay away from the game for a year Brett. I know it's that time of the year when your getting ready and what not. The off field training is going well I am sure, but do you really want to be known as the next Roger Clemons. Just play some catch with your family, and that's it, don't do anything else. The Hall will be calling your name soon. Green Bay will welcome you back in a year, and name a street, statue, and retire your number. Just give it a year and you'll be fine.

And please don't pull no MJ thing, and switch up your sports. But if you do, can you play some D for my Ottawa Senators? Please?
