Unbelievable. One of the best playoff comebacks in the history of the NBA. Celtics down by 24 heading into the 3rd quarter and they come back to win on the Lakers homecourt.

    Celtics Rock
3-1 lead . 1 more game to the Championship

Umm, Kyle, what's their story? They brought over 2 ridiculously talented all stars to join their ridiculously talented all star, and gave up very little of significance. If they weren't doing this, they'd be a laughing stock. They have an absurd amount of talent...

But it's barely the same team. Its not really a turnaround. It's an overhaul. I'll give you that Leon Powe is an awesome story, but other than that, the Celtics are not that fun to be a fan of.

Says the person that hates them Lakers did the same damn thing bringing in Karl Malone and Gary Payton. That worked well

Unless you have been a fan of them all your life and you had to suffer through the piss poor years.

Bon Bon, don't talk to me about piss poor years. I'm a fan of:

The Jets: They've always been mediocre, and the one year they did well, Doug Brien choked and I was destroyed.

The Knicks: Were good in 1999 but have been TERRIBLE since.

The Mets: Started watching in 1998. They were good for a few years, including a WS appearance, but then they were awful for 4 years, disappointed in 2006, choked in 2007, and are mediocre this year.

Sports don't work out well for me.

    Celtics and suffering

They're only the most storied franchise in NBA history with 16 championships. It's not like they're the Clippers or the Cubs here, let's relax a bit

Sasha Vaginaitch made Ray Allen look like Jesus Shuttlesworth.

Uh, that's what you do when you try to get better. You don't stand pat with crap.

And sure it's fun. Kevin Garnett will finally have a ring. What's bad about that?
