Henne to the Dolphins. Parcells get a QB too.

Its a weak QB draft. That's what we are talking about. What was the other point I was "wrong" on? Enlighten me.

That Ryan isn't going to be a good player. I agree that it's a weak QB draft, thought you meant overall.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

The one thing I fear with Ryan is, he's put in such a shitty supporting cast he may pull a Carr, who's talented but had no chance to succeed.

Making him a shitty QB. NFL GMs aren't liking Carr now and its not because of a lack of talent around him. His true colors were exposed.

    Re: NFL Draft Talk

Ryan is used to having a shitty core around him. Also, you said that he was the 3rd overall pick in a weak draft so you weren't talking about a QB draft, you were talking about the draft as a whole.

No, no I wasn't. We were all talking about the draft being weak for QBs. His being the third overall pick was my point that he is overrated.

the scouts and so-called experts really raved about him, but I agree, he is not a top tiered QB.

I think they had to rave about him since there was no else to rave about. Its like being the tallest midget.

I love the Bears draft, it will also be interesting to see Rex with some weapons around him. With his big arm, and some one like Forte capable of actually running. I think the Bears might have an offense. I just hope Williams isn't a bust. Otherwise the QB's will suck again this year.

    Re: NFL Draft Talk

The Bengals at least got a solid player in the first round. I'm a big fan of Rivers and I think he will be a great fit for them.

As for taking Jerome Simpson in the second round?...it seems crazy at first, but with Henry gone and Chad in limbo, another WR is not a bad idea
