Great game by the Rangers last night. They were desperate and hungry and it showed. Lundqvist played a fantastic game, the Rangers had extreme pressure on Crosby and Hossa in particular, and then there is Jagr who has seemed to be totally revitalized in the playoffs.

I don't care what happens in the offseason, but man do I love that Hossa trade.

Dallas won, Morrow about 9 minutes in the fourth OT on the PP (only the 2nd powerplay called since the 3rd period started)

    Re: Hockey picks.

Franzen is a freak of nature. He has matched his 2005-2006 full-season effort in terms of goals scored in the playoffs alone. If he hits 13, he'll be virtually at the half-way point to matching his 27 goal breakout season this year.... in only 11 (I think) playoff games.

Bottom line is: I am rooting for Dallas. As good for the game a Penguins vs Red Wings match might be... I don't like those odds.

I had a Flyers/Stars final picked but I doubt that will happen

and yes Franzen has only played 11 games so far, 10 goals in 5 straight too

Orange Crush? I think the Penguins need to take on that for their use as it is quite fitting after what we have seen in this series.

(Seriously though, the Flyers have played some tough games and had some unfortunate injuries, but as a Pens fan... I revel in this.)
