Movie Elimination, round 21! (yeah, vote)

    Elektra, round 1
    Catwoman, round 2
    Batman & Robin, round 3
    Spawn, round 4
    DareDevil, round 5
    Hellboy, round 6
    The Hulk, round 7
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, round 8
    Blade II, round 9
    Batman Returns, round 10
    Blade Trinity, round 11
    Batman Forever, round 12
    The Rocketeer, round 13
    Constantine, round 14
    Blade, round 15
    Fantastic Four, round 16
    The Punisher, round 17
    Superman, round 18
    Sin City, round 19
    Spider-man, round 20

    Batman
Advantages: Jacko was the Joker, enough said. Also pretty dark and gothic, unlike Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.
Disadvantages: The fact that the movie is older than some of the voters and may not be as special effects saavy as the rest.

    Batman Begins
Advantages: Christian Bale knocked 'em dead. Sir Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman brought loads of veteran acting credibility and it once again hit Batman's deep and dark roots.
Disadvantages: That the batmobile was the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

    Spider-man 2
Advantages: Tobey Mcguire plays Peter Parker very well. The special effects are.. special. And the ending..
Disadvantages: Loved the movie, just didn't buy Alfred Molina as a villain. What's weirder, the next movie villains are Lloyd from Wings and Topher Grace. Hm, alright.

    X-Men
Advantages: It was made up of mostly unknowns or B level actors, aside from Patrict Stewart and Ian McKellan. Ok, now Halle and Hugh are everywhere. Rogue's hot too.
Disadvantages: Sabertooth and Toad were gay portrayals.

    X2
Advantages: Better than the first, more action, better visuals, neater mutants (Pyro) and Brian Cox got his arse beat, thrice.
Disadvantages: Where the mother freaking bleep was Gambit!??! Why is x3 going to feature Kittie Pryde or freaking Archangel more than Gambit? Gah, HATE this. And why did the main enemies of the film have to be soldiers, and not Sentinels? Gah!

Five remain, blibbity blah blah, unleash your votes, all of you, even you damn lurkers. Make an account just to vote if you have to. Lynch's purple thing will love you long time.

Deadline will be 11pm, go go go go goooooooooo Forrrrrresssttttttt

    Spider-man 2

Did not see X-men, although if it was worse than X-2, it gets my vote next round.

    X-Men

    And here's why:

Being a fan and comic collector since the 70's, this movie was terrible. Bad casting (which goes for both of them) and pretty cheesy way of introducing some of the characters. Rogue is the worst casting choice in the entire franchise. Anna Paquin mighta (maybe) worked for Kitty Pryde when she first came to the X-Men in #129 (era early 80's). But to play the voluptous Rogue!? C'mon. Horrible horrible casting there. Sabertooth could have been 100x better but completely sucked. Toad worked ok for me for the simple reason that he didn't have much speaking (thankfully). James Mardsen as Cyclops is terrible as well. I could go on but I think the point has been made.

Ugh.. not a horrible movie compared to some of the others on the list, but of the ones remaining, this is definitely the weakest movie left.

Mostly unknowns are better than tabloid-haven stars. Ben Affleck held DareDevil back! The same could happen to Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage... o_O

    X-Men, please go away.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Jennifer Garner made it worse than it already was. Elektra had no business being in that movie. More bullseye and less elektra would have made it better. I'm no fan of Affleck, but I didn't think he was that bad. Matt Murdock didnt' have much of a personality, so Affleck actually fit that roll pretty well.
